Our first DVD release documented the 2008 SK Modified® Finale 100 event. The season
ending race was unique as it had 3 drivers in the Championship hunt. Dennis Gada going
for a record 7th Track Championship, Rob Janovic Jr was trying to defend his '07 crown while
young Keith Rocco had twice as many wins as anyone else and an outside shot at the track
title. The race didn't disappoint as it had a controversial late caution and a side-by-side
battle for the win over the final laps of the race. An instant classic!!
Also featured in this installment were the 1998 Champion Jeff Pearl, returning veterans
Ron Yuhas Jr, Corey Hutchings and Ed Reed Jr and rising star Tyler Chadwick. Complete
with in-depth interviews with all 8 drivers and a multi-camera shoot of the Finale 100
race including an in-car camera in Gada's #3 car. Coverage also includes Matt Buckler's
call of the race and Gary Danko's in-race pit reporting. The Finale 100 not only features
the drivers' talents on the track, but gives a glimpse of them off the track as well and
captures a moment in time at the end of the Waterford Speedbowl's 58th season.

The 2008 SK Modified® Finale 100 debuted at the annual Speedbowl Awards banquet
on January 16, 2009 in Groton, CT to positive reviews from the Speedbowl community.
Later that year on October 9th, Finale 100 was shown as part of the Racing Block at
the 1st annual Silk City Flick Fest in Manchester, CT. The documentary short was
not submitted for competition, but was well recieved during it's showing.
